Camping

Camping will be at Lambourne end.

Rules:

We now have a camping waiver, which has helped us keep our fantastic relationship with the centre, it's got the long list of rules and is available on the Registration Page

  • Don't cut down any trees
  • Sensible fire size so as not to set fire to Essex
  • Don't ruin the hut!
  • You're allowed to use the kitchenette, plates, cutlery etc, but you must wash up, or it comes out of the deposit we have to pay, making your camping more expensive next time.
  • Tidy up after yourselves
  • follow all parking/driving signs. You may not be able to park on the field if it's wet, more info on the day
  • Have fun!
Lambourne end is a Christian-run activities camp (no sacrifices or witchcraft please) with a big field down one end, which has a small hut with kitcken facilities, cold showers and loos (all of which we will have access to). The centre staff have been wonderful every time we've been, so we're going again. There is a gas hob and pots, so hot food can be prepared in the hut, which is also useful if it's raining. There's drinking water in the hut as well. The standard camping atmosphere is wicked fun, and we normally have a big fire, regardless of time of year.

Camping is available at £15 per person per night. Most of you will only need to camp on Saturday, but if you do need to stay Friday or Sunday because of travel, let us know when you buy the camping option. Here's the centre website:
